• Saline County Study Proposal - This is the defining document that initiated the Saline County Study in May of 1997.

• Memorandums of Agreement between the Saline County Commission and University Outreach and Extension:

• Research priorities of the Saline County Study - This document lists the research priorities of the Saline County Study as defined by the Study's Steering Committee.
• Community Decision Support as a form of Participatory Action Research - (Draft: December 1998)   by Thomas G. Johnson, James K. Scott and Kate O’Dubhchair; paper presented at the SUNY-Albany/Cornell University Videoconference, October 22 1998.  Community Decision Support (CDS) is designed to assist local governments and community groups in making more effective strategic public choices.  CDS is an integral part of the Saline County Study.
• Report on the Sunshine Law - This document is a report on how the state of Missouri's Sunshine Law relates to the Saline County Study Steering Committee.
• Custodian Document - In accordance with the State's Sunshine Law, this document states who is the custodian of the records of the Saline County Steering Committee.
• Report on the Kettering meeting - This document is a report on the August 20 1997 meeting with Jon Kinghorn of the Kettering Foundation.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Foundation's Issues Forum concept.  An Issues Forum is designed to assist a community to arrive at  a shared set of values and purposes which can be used as a basis for action.
• Saline County Baseline, 1998-2007 - A September 1998 report by Anna M. Cox and Kathleen K. Miller of the Community Policy Analysis Center (CPAC).  This report is a very fundamental document of the Saline County Study.  It provides the basis for comparing various alternative courses of action.  Such alternative courses of action are termed 'scenarios'.
• The Role of Agriculture and Agricultural Processing in Saline County, Missouri - This September 1998 document reports on the contribution of agriculture and agricultural processing to Saline County's economy.  The report is authored by Mubarak Hamed of the Community Policy Analysis Center (CPAC).
• CPAC Map Library - A link to Community Policy Analysis Center (CPAC) maps in relation to Community Well Being, Environment and Natural Resources, Growth and Infrastructure, and Jobs and Income
• CPAC Project Overview - Community Policy Analysis Center (CPAC) overview of the Saline County Study
• Livestock Production Site Evaluation Procedures - A paper presented by John Hoehne and J. M. Zulovich at the   International Conference on Air Pollution, February 7-9, 1996, Westin Crown Center, Kansas City, MO.
• The Impacts of a Proposed Saline County Use Tax: 1999 - 2007 - A paper presented to the Saline County Steering Committee by CPAC researchers Anna M. Cox, Thomas G. Johnson and James K. Scott.
• The Economic Importance of Health Care in Saline County - A report by CPAC researchers Anna M. Cox, Kathleen K. Miller and James K. Scott.  Presented to the Saline County Study Steering Committee in April 1999.  (This report is in PDF format.  It is 219 KB in size. • The Impacts of Animal Feeding Operations on Rural Land Values - by Mubarak Hamed, Thomas G. Johnson & Kathleen K. Miller of CPAC.
• Saline County Retail Trade Analysis: Sales, Employment and Income - A report by CPAC researchers Anna E. Kovalyova, Anna M. Cox and Thomas G. • Zoning and Land Use Controls - A presentation by University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law Professor Jerry Organ to the Saline County Study Committee on March 22, 1999
• Balancing Our Heritage with Our Horizons - Produced in February 2000, this booklet is designed to be used in conjunction with land use public issue forums to be held in Saline County in the months of February through June 2000.
• Legislative and Legal Matters related to the Saline County Study - A textual version of an oral presentation given by University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law Professor Jerry Organ to the Saline County Study Committee on June 19, 2000.  Included as an addendum to the report are Professor Organ's written responses to questions he received from Study members after the preparation of this written report.

• Odor Emissions & Animal Production--An outline of John Hoehne's presentation at the February 22 1999 meeting of the Saline County Study.
• Preference Ranking: A Tool for Decision Support--This is an explanation of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) given by Anna Cox of CPAC.  AHP helps in making decisions when there are many factors involved.  This presentation was made at the November 8, 1999 meeting of the Saline County Study.
