Notice of open meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Saline County Study Group will conduct a meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 1999 at the Saline County Extension Center at the southwest corner of Odell and Arrow Streets in Marshall.

At the September Retreat in Arrow Rock the year-two committees were dissolved and five new committees were formed.  We will finalize the membership of these committees and then break up into committees to elect a chair and secretary for each and to set meeting dates.  The five new committees and their tentative memberships are as follows: 
  • Public Issues Forum: LeAnn Haling, Kathy Borgman, Roy Hunter, Tom Johnson, Anna Cox, Chris Fulcher, Ruthie Cramer, Richard Pemberton, Richard Clemens, Becky Plattner
  • Web Improvements: Mark Belwood, Chris Fulcher, Darin Starr
  • Heart of Saline County-photo project: Mike Dillon, Cynthia Crawford, Darin Starr
  • Water Quality/Odor: Wayne McReynolds, Chris Barnett, John Lory, Vince Buck, Darin Starr
  • Policy Development: Kathy Miller, Gerry Snapp, Mark Belwood, Richard Pemberton, Roy Hunter
