Saline County Study Meeting

Saline County Extension Center

  • Statements regarding matters of which everyone should be aware
  • Approval of August 21 minutes
  • Finalization and approval of recommendation
  • Secondary matters regarding recommendation
    • Web version of recommendation and other Web matters (if any)
    • Announce date and time for official presentation to county commission
    • Overview and approval of oral presentation to be given by SCS Chair at official presentation of recommendation
    • Approval of ancillary documents to present to commission (P&Z documents of area counties; rural living document; anything else?)
  • Other items:
    • Formal disposition of  LIFE participation fees (standing at $2,600 dollars as of August 21 with an additional $150 outstanding); also discuss official status of SCS Leadership Fellowship committee (a.k.a. LIFE Steering Committee)
    • Formal disposition of the approximately $1200 of county funds that remain of the total appropriated by the county for the Saline County Study
    • Meet with LIFE group in Slater on November 16?
    • Do we want to schedule a visit with Larry Meeker of Federal Reserve?
    • Should we cancel the meetings scheduled for the remainder of the year?
    • Discuss completing rural residence data layer (This item is dependent on CARES having made sufficient progress in preparing support material.)
